This page is a good place to start if you have never visited the Westwood Models web site before.
Westwood Models sell obsolete and collectable Scalextric and other brands of slot cars. We sell only slot cars and have been dealers since 1991. We were one of the very first UK slot car dealers to have an Internet presence and we hope you will find this experience reflected in the service we offer.
At any one time, this site features several hundered cars available for sale. Some of the cars have pictures specifically the 1960s and early 1970s cars, many of the cars up to about 1990 and anything more recent which is a special or worth seeing before parting with your money! Click on the item entry in the listings for more details and pictures.
All cars are one-offs but we do have real-time stock control so the chances are that what you order is available. However we do sell at swapmeets and other venues so please wait for a confirmation from us before assuming the model is available.
The web site features a full on-line shop system with a cart and on-line payment. We accept all the mainstream credit and debit cards plus Paypal too. For orders in the UK we are also able to accept cheque, cash and postal orders. To be able to order you will need to create an account.
You will also find what we think are some useful features such as the ability to search in various ways, being able to re-order the lists by price and the 'New stock items' page where you can see the latest arrivals.
We also produce a newsletter from time to time. Don't forget to subscribe when you create your account if you would like to receive this. You can create an account with no obligation to buy and still receive our newsletter.
We have endeavoured to keep shipping prices to a minimum and also offer a series of discounts depending on how much you spend, starting from ?100.
